Personal Care

Residents and team members in Personal Care have continued to test negative following their most recent outbreak. We have now gone more than two weeks with no new positives. Physically distanced communal dining and group activities have resumed. Due to the Lancaster County positivity rate, only window visitation and compassionate care visitation are permitted. Team members will continue to be tested twice a week and residents will only be tested if they exhibit any signs or symptoms.

Memory Support

The results of testing at the end of last week of Memory Support residents revealed an additional two residents and two aides who tested positive. That brings the total for Memory Support up to 13 residents. Memory Support will continue testing residents regularly to identify all positive residents as soon as possible. We have brought in extra nursing support to help monitor all our Memory Support residents. There will be no visitation allowed in Memory Support except in extreme compassionate care situations.

Skilled Nursing

Skilled Nursing had no new positive cases this past week of testing. We continue to test all residents weekly in addition to team members twice a week.

Skilled Nursing has transitioned to yellow zone throughout and will look to resume physically distanced communal dining and group activities following another week of all negative test results. Window visitation is still permitted at this time and can be scheduled by calling the activities department.

Great Rock Home Care

There have been no new positive tests for Home Care employees. They continue to be tested twice a week as a precaution due to the high positivity rate in Lancaster County.

Holiday Visitation

With New Year celebrations later this week, we want to do everything we can to ensure residents are able to enjoy virtual visits from their families. We have a number of iPads we are able to use for virtual visitation, or if you prefer to schedule a window visit, please call Skilled or Personal Care activities departments to set those up. We do ask that you call ahead to schedule so we can have team members ready and available.
