COVID Visitation Update
On Monday, August 9th, the CMS updated the Lancaster County Positivity Rate to 5.7%. The increase over the past week from 3.5% to 5.7% has triggered a few procedural changes throughout the community, most notably in Skilled Nursing and Personal Care.
Skilled Nursing – Effective 8/11/2021
- All team members on a Skilled Nursing Unit or with a resident off the unit must wear a KN-95 or N-95 Mask and eye protection at all times.

Early indications suggest the Delta Variant is widespread in the Lancaster area. Both vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals have been testing positive. We ask that everyone be mindful and take the necessary precautions so we can continue allowing visitation, activities and communal dining for our residents. As a reminder, if there is a positive test in Skilled Nursing or Personal Care, all visitation will be stopped with the exception of specific individuals qualifying for compassionate care.
